Using Backgrounds with Black Magic

The backgrounds that go in Media 1 and Media 2 must be a certain size to fill the screen for broadcast. Share your backgrounds and editing tips. What software do you use for editing? What picture sizes work for you?

Sharon O'Connor was kind enough to share a large library of backgrounds in Google Drive. Please contact her if you do not have access to the files.

Video Editing Software

Alachua County offers Adobe CC licenses for $5.00 per year to TV Production studio members. The suite of products includes Adobe Premiere which is a powerful video editing program.

In working with Ellen Meeker at Finley, I learned of an online editor called Animoto. Ellen made a professional opening video for her first broadcast that was AWESOME!! It is free for teachers (Education) https://animoto.com/
